Apex Publishing Ltd has been named as the new shirt sponsors of FC Clacton.
Apex Publishing won the shirt sponsor rights by buying the winning raffle ticket, other tickets were purchased by local businesses in the Tendring area. The draw took place in the club's club house at 6pm on Wednesday 15th June and the prize was valued at £6,000.
The sponsorship will run for two years, and Apex Publishing's name will now appear on the club's kits (from under 7’s through to the veterans side), in its programme, in and around stadium, on all club literature and on the football club's website and facebook page.
Apex Publishing’s Chris Cowlin said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won the prize as main sponsor. We have done business with football clubs all over the country in the past few years, so it is nice to work locally and support our local club. I just can’t wait to see our name on the front of the shirts, it is very exciting.”
FC Clacton is the oldest, largest and only senior football club in the Clacton area. They are run and registered on a strictly not for profit basis and from their base in Rush Green Road offer football and social opportunities to boys, girls, ladies and men, from Under 7’s to veterans; competing in Leagues in Clacton, Colchester, all over Essex & East Anglia.
